Comportamiento
Las cobayas Rex tienen un pelaje irregular, denso y con textura de lana. Su pelo no mide más de 1 cm de largo y está apuntando hacia fuera, similar a un erizo. En la parte inferior del vientre el pelo es denso y rizo. Su cabeza es grande y sus orejas largas y caídas. Y aunque se cría en la mayoría de colores, el más popular es el color agouti.
